JOURNALISM PORTFOLIO

I began my journey in journalism in my sophomore year as a staff writer and editor intern. I became a member of the editorial staff as a junior. Now, I am ecstatic to be the editor-in-chief of Scot Scoop, Carlmont High School's award-winning online publication, for the 2021-2021 academic year. During my time in the program,  I’ve had the opportunity to work on a range of solo and collaborative projects covering topics spanning from COVID-19 communication policy and voting laws to essential oil vapes and climate change, allowing me to hone my writing, editing, designing, and leadership skills.
